Mercury Free

We have a strict protocol for removal of amalgam fillings. We take electrical readings to work out the order in which fillings should be removed. Depending on the health of the patient dictates the speed at which we remove them. We use safe removal techniques, where the patient is protected with either a rubber dam or a 'clean-up tip'. We're a 100% mercury-free practice. We take nutritional remedies to protect the system before the removal procedure is carried out. We practice mercury-free dentistry using the IAOMT protocols.

We section the fillings with tungsten-carbine burs under high volume suction and irrigation. To minimise the mercury leakage into the patient. We also use a nose piece to give a clean source of oxygen during the mercury removal. (Have a look at the protocol on another site)
